# Token balance and costs

> Understand how PornX tokens work, check your balance, see generation costs for images and videos, and learn how to purchase more tokens.

Tokens are the currency used for generation on PornX. Each generation costs tokens depending on the type — image, video, or enhanced video.

## How tokens work

Tokens are deducted at the moment of generation. If a generation fails, tokens are returned to your balance.

Free accounts receive five generations per day without tokens. Token purchases are available to Premium accounts and are used on top of the daily allowance.

## How to check your balance

Your token balance is visible in the top navigation bar at all times. Click it to open the full account overview.

## How to buy tokens

1. Go to [/premium](/premium)
2. Select a token package
3. Complete payment — card or crypto accepted
4. Tokens appear in your balance immediately

## Tips

* Tokens don't expire — buy in bulk if you generate frequently
* Failed generations return tokens automatically — no need to contact support

## Common issues
