# Talk to AI characters: models, limits and tools

> How a PornX chat conversation works: the Flash and Pro models, daily message limits, regenerating replies, personas, photos, and reporting.

Open a character from the [Chat catalog](https://pornx.co/chat) and send a message. Replies stream in as they are written. When many people are chatting, you may see your place in a queue.

## Models

Choose the model in the chat window. Premium accounts also get advanced chat memory.

## Message limit

Free accounts have a daily message limit that resets on a rolling 24-hour basis. When you reach it, you can upgrade to Premium for unlimited messages, or buy a message pack with tokens. ## Tools in a conversation

* **Regenerate** a reply you do not like.
* **Edit** a message.
* **Personas** let you choose who you are in the roleplay. Free accounts can keep a limited number of personas.
* **Photo requests** ask the character for a picture. This costs tokens and needs a character linked to your image generator.
* **Media gallery** collects the images from a conversation.
* **Share** a conversation.
* **Report** or **block** a character or content that breaks the rules.

## Safety

Some messages trigger safety checks. If a message is blocked, rewrite it. Read the [Community guidelines](https://docs.pornx.co/help-section/community-guidelines.md) for what is not allowed.
